Description

Clash of Beasts is a war strategy, tower defense game where players collect and command a diverse array of mythical creatures to defend their kingdom and conquer enemy lands.

Role

Game Designer, UI/UX Designer and Artist

Responsibilities

  • Designed in-game events, features, and contributed to economy balancing, resulting in improved user retention. Developed user-friendly Excel sheets for team collaboration and quick adjustments.

  • Created visually consistent in-game UI/UX, including buttons, UI elements, and assets; and organized flows for all UI states to ensure a seamless user experience.

  • Collaborated closely with UI integrators to ensure seamless integration and alignment with the established mockup.

  • Produced digital paintings for in-game assets, icons, and promotional materials.

  • Rewrote and organized game design documents (GDD) for clarity and comprehensiveness, catering to designers, QA, and developers for efficient production.

  • Conceptualized and developed the in-game universe and characters, including writing lore and penning dialogues to drive the storyline.

  • Crafted storyboards to visualize the First-Time User Experience (FTUE) and tutorials.

  • Extensively tested and reviewed the game's user interface (UI), identifying and addressing issues to ensure a polished and user-friendly experience.

  • Wrote promotional text for iOS App Store and Google Play Store to drive engagement with in-game events.
