Description

Captain Laserhawk: The G.A.M.E. expands the universe of Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix series - produced by Ubisoft for Netflix and featuring iconic characters from Ubisoft IPs.


The G.A.M.E. is a transmedia gaming adventure where the community drives the narrative through innovative governance. The game is a competitive online top-down multiplayer shooter game.

Role

Content and Game Designer (UI/UX, Narrative, Economy, Systems and Features)

Responsibilities

  • UI/UX Design: Led a UI/UX overhaul to improve PC usability and visual consistency. Created UI/UX for 7 new features from abstract concepts to production ready designs. Delivered 150+ screens, states, flows, and documentation for CTLG.

  • Primary Content Designer: Led the FY25–26 content roadmap and designed 250+ cosmetics (live-ops collaborations, events, battlepasses). Oversaw an additional 70+ cosmetics produced by another designer, ensuring full asset documentation and close collaboration with the art team.

  • Live-Ops Feature and System Design: Conceptualised 7+ live-ops gameplay systems, events, and features focused on retention, engagement, and monetization, including time-limited game modes with recurrence scheduling, tournament and its matchmaking system, new cosmetic types, Web3 token shop, etc. for CLTG.

  • Narrative & Thematic Design: Ensured alignment with the Captain Laserhawk Netflix show’s lore and tone across in-game text, features, UI and cosmetics. Authored key in-game text and story elements, including feature descriptions, instructions and narrative content, maintaining consistency with the show’s language and style.

  • Economy Design: Balanced in-game a Web3 store economy; created Excel sheets for cosmetic price and quantity adjustments. Configured and managed in-game shop to control cosmetic offer availability, recurrence, pricing and quantity.

  • Presentation Design: Developed pitch decks and presentations with high-quality visuals and animations to successfully secure collaborations and showcase project progress.

  • Integrated the items into the game and ensured accuracy of their localization keys.
